Dissemination Event: Business Opportunities in India (Videoconference)

On September 7th, 14 companies from Rhône-Alpes had concreted exchanges with 5 members of the Indian working group. The next step is a collective trade mission of these companies to New Delhi in January 2011.

The Indian Government plans to build 7000 km of road every year in order to reach 88000 km of road network instead of the 70,456 Km the country has today.

A working group has been created within the Ministry of Transport to manage this huge project in a homogeneous way with a specific focus on the thematic of toll plazas and equipment for roads on mountain area.
